LUBBOCK, Texas — Lavernous Arnold, 21, was captured in Lubbock after he was accused of murdering a teenager in Valdosta, Georgia, according to public records.
The jail roster showed that Arnold was arrested by the Lubbock Police Department on Tuesday in the 1400 block of 36th Street.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said on July 5 around 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in Remerton. Jaykavion Gary, 16, was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he passed away. Investigators determined multiple people were present when the shooting happened. GBI named Arnold as a suspect on August 18.
As of Wednesday, Arnold remained at the Lubbock County Detention Center on fugitive warrants…
