Normally, I would never write an article about a rumor unless I heard about it from multiple sources and/or it was extremely hilarious.
The rumored huge change for Lubbock’s Alamo Drafthouse is from the former category. I heard it from three separate sources (including Lubbock In the Loop); however, Lubbock loves to talk, so I must emphasize that this is currently just a rumor.

The rumor is that new owners have purchased it and will convert it into a Flix Brewhouse. Flix Brewhouses are pretty similar in vibe to an Alamo Drafthouse.
