LIVESTREAM: Flood watch tonight

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – updated 2:22 p.m. – The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Lubbock and the South Plains, in effect from 4 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday.

Watch means there is the potential for flooding. After last night’s heavy rain, another one to three inches of rainfall is possible across much of the area.

Last night brought rounds of heavy rainfall and lots of lightning. As of 10 a.m. Saturday, roughly 800 LP&L customers had an outage, down from more than 7,000 after Midnight. Updated info link here…
