LUBBOCK, Texas-–Marco Antonio Tena, 54, agreed to plead guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute 40 Grams or More of Fentanyl, according to federal court records obtained on Wednesday.
On November 22, 2024, a special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) received information that Marco Antonio Tena had a warrant for his arrest.

Agents found Tenas truck at a hotel in Lubbock. Agents saw Tena exit the hotel, walk towards the truck and place a bag into the back passenger seat. Agents then arrested him and found a semi-automatic pistol in his waistband.
A DPS trooper used a drug detection canine to conduct a search on Tena’s vehicle. Agents then found a bag of fentanyl pills. The pills were sent to the Drug Enforcment Agency where they confirmed the pills 7,675 total contained fentanyl…
