LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) – Lubbock Impact will be hosting a grand-opening and ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil their new Foundations of Healing Medical Clinic on Thursday, September 18th from 9am to 10am*. The opening of the clinic marks the beginning of a new chapter for the nonprofit in their continued effort to provide healthcare access and resources to individuals without any form of insurance.
Since 2009, Lubbock Impact has partnered with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center to provide free medical care to uninsured adults through The Free Clinic which sees patients on a first come, first serve, walk-in basis on Wednesday evenings.
As the need for accessible healthcare grows, Lubbock Impact’s Foundations of Healing Clinic will expand on what the Free Clinic started by adding more clinic days…
