Remember when using Craigslist wasn’t just for creepy, lonely, weirdos? I do! Those were the days! I even furnished my entire first apartment in Austin with free things I found on Craigslist. I can also thank Craigslist for hooking me up with several jobs in my early 20s.

So, what’s happening there these days, and who is actually keeping the site in business?
I decided to dive into our local Lubbock Craigslist to see what people had going on. I was curious if I’d see a booming community or just a sad excuse for a website. I mean, it’s bound to disappear eventually, right? We’ve got a million other sites to replace it. It’s just barely hanging on…or is it?
