LUBBOCK, Texas— The highly anticipated South Plains Fair will begin on Friday, Sept. 19, and run through Saturday, Sept. 27, with Thursday, Sept. 18, designated as Buck-A-Ride night.
The Fair offers enjoyable experiences for both parents and children, but large crowds can be challenging, especially with young ones.

The LPD utilizes drones and security trailers manned by officers to help locate children on the fairgrounds. We want families to enjoy their time, but most importantly, be safe.”…
