LUBBOCK, Texas — It’s been three months since the storm on June 5th brought damaging hail, strong winds and a tornado to Lubbock. One homeowner in the Cambridge Way subdivision said she is patiently waiting for contractors to come repair the damage to her home.
Donna Hamil is among many residents in this area who experienced damage to their roofs and windows. She said nearly every home on her block was damaged in some way.
“It was stunning to me…I was hearing about the storm, but to see windows blown out of the back of my house was shocking,” Hamil said.
