LUBBOCK, Texas — Wayland Baptist University Chapter Prayer Team is hosting a worldwide prayer event, “See You at the Pole,” on September 24 at the campus flagpole in Heritage Circle in front of Gates Hall, 1900 Seventh ST. beginning at 7 a.m. Students, alumni and the Wayland community are welcome to join the student-led prayer for their school, community, nation and world.
“See You at the Pole is a beautiful reminder that prayer unites us,” said Donnie Brown, Wayland’s Director of Spiritual Life. “When students gather at the flagpole, they are standing together in faith and asking God to guide not only their campus, but also their communities and the nation.”
