LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – September marks National Preparedness Month, an effort by FEMA’s Ready Campaign to remind Americans about the importance of being ready when disasters strike.
The 2025 theme, Preparedness Starts at Home, highlights simple but effective steps families can take, like creating an emergency plan, building a supply kit, and staying connected through local alert systems.
