What started as a joke turned into a very real horse versus human chase between a facetious police officer and someone they had stopped for walking in the road, video footage shows.
The Lubbock Police Department posted a video of the incident, which has since gone viral, to Facebook on Sept. 24.
The video shows three officers on horseback talking to two men on the side of the road. According to KCBD, two of the officers, Bryson Lewis and William Trotter, thought one man, who they’d stopped when they saw him walking in the road, was acting suspicious so they asked if they could check his pockets…
