1 arrested after road rage incident in West Lubbock turns violent

LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Police Department said after officers initially responded to a report of shots fired near 66th Street and Milwaukee Avenue on Tuesday, it turns out two people actually suffered lacerations after a fight during a road rage incident.

Looking at excessive crime at Executive Inn that led motel’s closure

LPD said the road rage incident happened in the 6600 block of Upland Avenue. According to police, a 20-year-old man suffered lacerations. Police said the victim was driven to a gas station on Milwaukee Avenue, and 911 was called. LPD said the victim was taken to University Medical Center for his injuries.
