New Texas Tech Chancellor pledges to protect free speech on campus

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The newly appointed chancellor for the Texas Tech University System pledged to protect free speech and the exchange of ideas during his tenure in West Texas.

Brandon Creighton made that commitment during a Turning Point USA rally in south Lubbock Wednesday night. It was his first public event since the Texas Tech Board of Regents hired him to succeed Tedd Mitchell last week.
