The History of August’s Pies in Lubbock

August Moeller knew that people loved his fried pies and began selling them way back in 1937. There is some debate about whether the pies were first sold in Lubbock or Wichita Falls, but we do know that August’s Pies were handmade here in Lubbock at 4820 Avenue Q for many years.
