EXTENDED FORECAST:
Isolated showers will remain across portions of the KLBK forecast area on Saturday, especially over northern and eastern areas. This could impact the Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma State University game. After Saturday, we will dry out through the first part of next week. Highs will warm from the 70s on Saturday into the upper 70s to low 90s Sunday and Monday. Winds will increase Monday and Tuesday as a strong cold front approaches. As this cold front moves in, highs will fall into the 60s and 70s Tuesday, with highs in the 50s and 60s likely on Wednesday. Morning lows will range from the 40s and 50s each day next week, with more 30s and 40s expected by Wednesday morning. I don’t think Lubbock will see its first freeze as of now, but that could be subject to change.
