Unfortunately, most of us are already full up with pets or limited by space and time. But there’s a way to make a big difference without breaking the bank or building a barnyard.
Treat Buckets and Big Hearts
The Haven Animal Shelter is hosting Trick or Treat for the Animals this Saturday, and it’s a brilliant idea. Each animal pen has its own “trick or treat” bucket — and visitors can drop in treats, toys, or supplies to help out. It’s a creative, feel-good way to lend a hand, especially if you can’t adopt or volunteer regularly.
Pets need humans just as much as humans need pets. By dropping off a few goodies, you help The Haven offset expenses, ease some of the financial strain, and keep the animals engaged and socialized.
