The Sandwich Spot Brings West Coast Vibes and Big Sandwiches To Lubbock
The Sandwich Spot is new to Lubbock but not to the sandwich scene. According to their website, the first Sandwich Spot opened in 2007 in Sacramento, California. They say they have big sandwiches that are crafted with the freshest ingredients and a “heap of love”.
The Sandwich Spot has a big menu for sandwich lovers and one thing I really like about it is that they really attempt to become part of the community. How so? They actually rename sandwiches to fit the city they are in. For example, the Lubbock location the “Buddy Holly Blvd”, “Raider Reuben”, “The Matador Meatball”, “Cotton Gin”, and many more.

Since 2007, The Sandwich Spot has grown to open over 30 locations including in states like California, Nevada, Arizona, and of course Texas. Lubbock is actually the second location in Texas for The Sandwich Spot. The first opened in Frisco in December of 2022 and has a great write up in the Observer and great reviews including on Yelp and Google.
