LUBBOCK, Texas — When book lovers Brielle Soto and Stacy Turner dreamed up The Nook, they weren’t just opening another bookstore they were building a story sanctuary. What started as an online shop tucked away in a warehouse has now turned into a charming, brick-and-mortar escape where the scent of old books and new beginnings fills the air.
From Warehouse to Warm Welcome
Before The Nookhad walls filled with stories, it was all boxes and barcodes. Soto and Turner ran an online used bookstore out of a warehouse, selling stories to readers across the country. But as their book piles grew higher (and their warehouse felt smaller), the idea for something bigger and cozier began to take shape.
Now, those same shelves have found a new home in a space that feels more like a friend’s living room than a store.
