LUBBOCK, Texas— Robert Green, 18, was arrested on multiple charges due to two separate incidents, including the deadly discharge of a firearm, related to the September party that resulted in the death of 20-year-old Deon Lilly and injured two others.

According to an affidavit obtained by EverythingLubbock.com on Thursday, when the Lubbock Special Crimes Unit took over the investigation, they conducted multiple interviews. They reviewed various videos of what transpired, leading them to Green.
Green was interviewed after his arrest in connection with a separate incident that occurred on Oct. 2, facing charges of evading arrest, unlawful carrying of a weapon, and a parole warrant. He told officers that he was at the party and got into a fight with an unknown Hispanic male. During the altercation, shots were fired in the area.

He agreed to have his phone searched, and during the investigation, officers discovered messages on Facebook where he informed several people that his gun had jammed on the night of the party. This led the police to review camera footage from the party on 76th Street, which showed Green approaching the front door with several unidentified males. In the video, he was seen reaching into his waistband and pulling out a pistol equipped with a laser device.
The pistol owned by Green was tested, and multiple shell casings from the gun matched casings found on the scene of the party…
