Lubbock organizations accepting donations to help families after SNAP suspension

LUBBOCK, Texas — Several Lubbock organizations are stepping up to help families struggling to afford food following the recent suspension of food stamp (SNAP) benefits for some residents. From nonperishable food drives to monetary donation options, local groups are working together to make sure no one in the community goes hungry.

East Lubbock Art HouseEast Lubbock Art House, at 405 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, is accepting nonperishable food items, fresh fruits and vegetables, and bottled drinks that are not expired.
