LUBBOCK COUNTY, TX (KCBD) – A Lubbock County farm is offering to take jack-o-lanterns off residents’ hands after Halloween trick-or-treating ends.
Gilt-T-Pleasure Farm houses more than 120 hogs, sows and piglets that eat a diet of local produce. The farm collaborates with other farms and businesses to prevent damaged goods or extra fruits and vegetables from going to waste.
The farm accepts fall pumpkins as part of this program. Families can bring their gourds to the farm to feed the pigs themselves, or they can call or text the farm’s phone number to schedule a pumpkin pickup time…
