First United Methodist Church serves traditional Thanksgiving meal to Hub City residents

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – First United Methodist Church hosted its 32nd annual Community Thanksgiving Feast on Saturday, serving a free traditional Thanksgiving meal to people from across the Hub City.

The church was filled with guests for the meal, which included all the traditional fixings and dessert. The church holds the annual celebration to further their mission to serve others and offer a meaningful way to experience fellowship and gratitude within the community.

“It really is good; it’s heartwarming to come in and see tables of eight and you see people that don’t know anybody but they’re visiting and learning about what they do and the things they’re involved in and it’s just an open, friendly environment.
