Silent Wings Museum Opens Its Doors
Start your Veterans Day at one of Lubbock’s most patriotic spots—the Silent Wings Museum, located at 6202 I-27. On November 11th, veterans and active-duty personnel will get free admission all day, from 10am to 8pm.
There’s also a special ceremony at 11am, featuring the Estacado High School Color Guard and Mayor Mark McBrayer, who’ll present Lubbock’s official Veterans Day proclamation. It’s a heartfelt way to honor service and remember the city’s deep military ties.
