LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Animal Services (LAS) have released their metrics for the week of Friday, November 14 through Thursday, November 20.
Fatal crash in Gaines County leaves one dead, two injured
LAS reported a total number of 963 phone calls, with 812 going to the front desk and 151 calls to the field services line. LAS revealed they took 23 aggressive animal calls and only 21 animal welfare calls. LAS revealed that they had a total of 80 adoptions for the week, including 57 dogs, 19 cats and 4 chickens. They also took in 153 animals, with their current dog population sitting at 217.
