LUBBOCK, Texas – — When Texas Tech clinched the Big 12 Championship on Saturday, the celebration began early for fans, and the workload began early for one longtime Lubbock business.
California Tees, a locally owned screen-printing and embroidery shop across from campus, jumped into action during the game. Owner Madison Baker said she and her team rushed to the shop at halftime, bought a TV and monitored the rest of the matchup from inside the print room.

“As soon as that scoreboard was right, we just went for it and started about 3 on the dot,” Baker said.
