LUBBOCK, Texas — Three individuals were sentenced on Thursday after being arrested in a federal drug trafficking case. Charles Srnek, who pleaded guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 Grams or More of Methamphetamine, Sean Burns, who pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Distribute and Possess with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substance and Kiyle Jackson, who pleaded guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl.
According to court documents obtained by Everythinglubbock.com, beginning in early 2024, agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Lubbock Resident Office (RO) began investigating the activities of Adam Baber, Sean Burns, Jessica Clauson, Charles Srnek (also known as “Dreds,”) Kiyle Jackson and others.

DEA agents had received information that the suspects were distributing large amounts of fentanyl in the Lubbock area. In May 2024, law enforcement received a tip that the group were returning to Lubbock from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where they were suspected of purchasing a large quantity of fentanyl.
Court documents said that agents attempted to intercept their vehicle, but were unsuccessful. Following the attempt, agents set up surveillance on Clauson and Srnek at their residence on 38th Street in Lubbock.
