If cooking a full holiday meal isn’t in your Christmas plans, you’re not alone. Every year, a mix of national chains and select local spots choose to stay open on Christmas Day, offering Lubbock residents a place to dine in, grab takeout, or enjoy delivery.
Thanks to the LBK Foodies for providing us with the restaurants open on Christmas Day, although I recommend calling ahead/ making reservations to be sure.

Ponto Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse ( 5107 82nd St #109) – Ponto Gaucho is more than a restaurant; it’s a decadent experience. All you can eat, high-quality Brazilian barbecue meats and a “salad” bar that’s to die for (yes, there’s salad, but also fancy cheese, smoked salmon, soups, and hot sides). I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation ASAP for Christmas Day.
Momotaro (8004 Indiana Ave., Suite B18 )- another all-you-can-eat experience (regular menu available as well) with Korean-style hot-pot, sushi, hibachi, and other Asian favorites…
