LUBBOCK, Texas– It was this day four years ago that Cornelius Carrington was killed in a drive-by shooting while visiting a family friends’ home. His family gathering for a balloon release to honor his memory.
Cornelius was only four when he was murdered. His family says he should be eight years old, learning how to play sports and doing what he loved which was going to school.
“He was a lovely little boy….he was so smart…” one family member said.
