LUBBOCK, Texas–The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is currently in the area of West Loop near Frankford Avenue after an accident occurred.
LPD were called at 6:55 p.m. three vehicles were involved, and one person was transported to UMC with serious injuries.
Hydrochloric acid spill prompts traffic block in Shallowater
LPD confirmed there was a vehicle stalled out on the shoulder of the loop when a second motorist stopped to assist the first motorist. LPD said it appears both were struck by a third vehicle.
