The main City of Lubbock offices will be closed Thursday, January 1, in observance of the New Year’s holiday. Regular business hours will resume on Friday, January 2.

Solid Waste
- West Texas Region Disposal Facility and the Caliche Canyon Landfill will observe the following holiday schedule:
- January 1 – Closed
- January 2 – Normal operating hours
- Residential Trash Collection
- Residential collection will not be conducted on Thursday, January 1.
- Drop-Off Recycling Centers
- Closed Thursday, January 1. Will return to normal hours Friday, January 2.
