Roadwork is set to begin in early January to make travel safer between the City of Lubbock and the City of Ropesville.
The Texas Department of Transportation announced that it is set to begin a $2.7 million project to make safety improvements to almost 13 miles of U.S. Highway 62, from 73rd Street in Lubbock to Ropesville.
