MIDLAND, Texas — A fatal motorcycle accident on West Loop 250 North claimed the life of a Lubbock man Thursday evening, according to Midland Police and Fire Department officials.
The incident occurred at 8:02 p.m. when the operator of a 2004 Harley Davidson Sportster, identified as 38-year-old John Joseph Villalobos of Lubbock, attempted to pass two vehicles by maneuvering between them at a high rate of speed, according to a press release from the Midland Police Department.
