LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – We’ll start out the second full week of January 2026 with typical temperatures for the South Plains.
For the most part, skies will be sunny and daytime highs will remain well below record levels for Lubbock and the region.
The nighttime lows will be cold, but the afternoon temperatures will range from the 50s to 60s.
The nighttime lows will be cold and I have overnight temps in the 20s, except for two days out of the next seven.
Skies will have a few clouds, but unfortunately, no rain in the forecast. However, as you might expect the winds may stir from dust due to the dry conditions and mild temperatures…
