Lubbock man arrested after threatening to kill Co-workers

LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Man, Johnathan Estes, 50, was charged with aggravated assault and interfering with public duties on Thursday, January 8.

According to an affidavit from the Lubbock Police Department, Jonathan Estes, was threatening to stab a Co-worker, while swinging a sharp object in the air causing the other employees run and hide.

The co-worker who was being threaten defended himself and was able to restrain Johnathan Estes until police arrived on scene. When police arrived they, handcuffed Johnathan Estes while he was on the ground. He refused to stand up and walk, and continue to pull away and not corporate with officers according to the LDP affidavit.

Johnathan Estes was then transported to the Lubbock County Jail with a $26,500 bond…
