LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Police Department is continuing to ask for the public’s help solving the 2023 homicide of David Perez, 30.
On January 13, 2023, officers were called to the 1900 block of Avenue M at 5:29 a.m. Police found Perez with a gunshot wound to his side. He was taken to University Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
LPD said it appeared Perez was in the back of his house when he was shot by an “unknown suspect.” Days later, police released an image of a black four-door sedan as a vehicle of interest. Police said the vehicle was seen in the area when the shooting was reported…
