Texans are preparing, or at least should be preparing for a massive winter storm to begin moving into Texas on Friday. The winter storm is massive, stretching from New Mexico all the way beyond New York City. For the state of Texas, residents throughout the state will see cold temperatures while many will also deal with snow or ice.
Arctic Front Enters Texas on Friday
Enjoy Thursday’s high temperature because on Friday, things will change for the Panhandle and Southern Plains. The DFW area will see cooler temperatures on Friday, but the high is expected to be around 50 degrees.
For those of us in Lubbock, expect high temperatures on Friday to be in the mid to upper 30’s. A wintery mix could move in during the day Friday, but the better chance is Friday night…
