The scents of chocolate, caramel and sweets greets customers as they walk into the black-and-white shop. Owner Stephanie Lindblom and her staff help customers while operating a small kitchen that produces fresh and flavorful treats, from macarons to bonbons to the recently viral hot chocolate.
Lindblom, known to her husband as Chickie, owns Chickie’s Tasty Treats, 4930 S. Loop 289, Suite 205. In business for six years, Lindblom gave an inside look into how she became the chocolatier of Lubbock, what her favorites are, and what is coming up for the sweet shop.
“We’re small, but we’re mighty, and we put our heart into everything we make,” Lindblom said. “We want to make the best product we can at the most reasonable price. Hopefully, when people come in here, they feel like they’re getting a deal, because it’s a good product at a reasonable price.”…
