LUBBOCK, Texas — Mardi Gras is a vibrant festival with rich food, masks and bead throwing. We at EverythingLubbock.com have compiled a list of Mardi Gras events that are happening around Lubbock for anyone to enjoy.

Monday, February 2

  • Lubbock Public Library — Starting at 6 p.m., the Library will host a a festive night of mask-making magic. Guest will be able to customize their mask for the upcoming celebration around Lubbock. Please note this event for ages 18-and-up.

Sunday, February 15

  • Little Woodrow’s — Starting at 1:00 p.m., Little Woodrow’s will host a “Mardi Paws” a dog friendly celebration with a DJ, local vendors, bead throwing and a crawfish kickoff. Dogs with the best outfits will win a prize.

Tuesday, February 17

  • Jazz A Louisiana Kitchen Lubbock — Starting at 11 a.m., will have food and drink specials, live music and giveaways.

Thursday, February 27

  • The Center of Global Understanding — Starting at 6 p.m., the center is celebrating Mardi Gras with dazzling music, vibrant colors, delicious Cajun food and beads for everyone at the CenterPointe Event Center. Call (806)-535-4245 to purchase tickets and learn more information.

Tuesday, March 3

  • Lubbock Meals on Wheels — The 27th annual Mardi Gras festival will include 37 food booths, music, silent auction and cash bar, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Exhibit Hall from 5:30pm-8:30pm. Tickets can be purchase here.
