LUBBOCK, Texas — Fans anxiously waiting to see Dwight Yoakum take the stage at the Buddy Holly Hall Thursday had to wait a little longer than expected.
The country music superstar was set to perform at 7 p.m. but the show’s opener played until around 9 p.m., with no signs of Yoakum. According to those in attendance, the house lights came on after the opening set and an announcement stated that it was unknown when Yoakum would arrive. It also advised that those who purchased a ticket through the e-tix service used by the Buddy Holly Hall would receive a refund. However, those who used a third-party service would reportedly be unable to receive the refund.
