LUBBOCK, Texas — Some grass fires have been reported in the Lubbock area on Tuesday amid high winds and blowing dust.
A grass fire was reported near Quaker Avenue just north of Clovis Road (4500 block of PR 6300) just before 2 p.m. The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office said the fire spread to debris nearby. First responders were able to stop the spread by 2:25 p.m.
