LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock County Clerk Kellie Pinion is retiring after 32 years of service, and four candidates are looking for their chance to take the job come November.
The clerk’s office is best known for keeping track of court records and issuing marriage licenses. It also handles birth and death certificates, property records and logs Commissioners Court meetings.
