The energy on Tuesday night at Lubbock-Cooper Liberty High School was palpable as the Olton Mustangs met the Post Antelopes to decide who would become the bi-district champions. Both stands were crowded with students and parents alike when it came time for tip-off.
Throughout the night, the fans of both teams, especially the students, filled the air with chants and cheers, sometimes throwing taunts as the game-state shifted. In the beginning, the energy seemed to favor the Antelopes, but the score board disagreed as Olton started pulling ahead.
