Well, Deep East Texas, it’s almost that time once again…Time to change the clocks. Twice a year, we go through the frustration of changing the clocks one hour. This time, the time will “Spring Forward”, meaning that the time will jump one hour in the middle of the night on March 8th at 2:00 AM. As I’m sure you know, this is when Daylight Savings Time begins.
I personally wish that we didn’t have to go through this process twice a year, but hey, it is what it is. Actually, it’s not all bad. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not all good, either. However, it does have its pros and cons.

The Not-So-Good Things About Time Change
Now for the other side of the time change coin…The biggest part is that we lose an hour of sleep. It’s just gone. Instead of waking up to your normal amount of sleep, you get less, unless – of course – it causes the next bad thing……
