LUBBOCK, Texas — A service dog named ‘Moxxie’ is being looked for by its owner, Nikolai Smith after he was rehomed in December of 2025 by their former roommate without Smith’s knowledge.
Smith was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome at a young age and later Schizophrenia.
“He’s a schizophrenic, essentially. His main work is schizophrenia and PTSD. I got diagnosed with PTSD as a child and then medically recognized with schizophrenia because I was too young to be fully diagnosed with it.”
