LUBBOCK, Texas – North Texas softball collected a pair of double-digit wins at the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic in Lubbock as it wrapped up its final non-conference tournament before American Conference play begins.
The Mean Green (10-12) won three out of five games, with both losses coming against No. 2 Texas Tech (22-1). Head coach Cody White said the challenging matchup was intentionally scheduled to prepare the team for the matches ahead.
