LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock City Councilmember from District 4 Brayden Rose announced his unexpected resignation Tuesday following the latest city council meeting.
Rose has served as a councilmember since May 2024 after being elected on the platform of encouraging business growth, promoting public safety and protecting Lubbock’s conservative principles. He is a Lubbock native, attended both Frenship ISD and Texas Tech and helps his family operate McGavock Auto Group.

Serving the people of Lubbock over the past two years has been a tremendous honor. I am proud of the work we have accomplished together and grateful for the opportunity to represent our community.
