LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – For people who travel Woodrow Road regularly, the county’s decision to lower the speed limit wasn’t surprising, it was overdue.
Lubbock County commissioners voted unanimously earlier this week to drop the limit from 65 mph to 45 mph between FM 179 south of Wolfforth and Lubbock-Cooper Liberty, citing growth, construction and increased traffic in the area.
