LONGVIEW, Texas — Longview native Laura Pratt has been appointed by Gov. Abbott to the Seventh Court of Appeals.
Pratt grew up in Longview and has a background in science. She attended Texas Tech University School of Law and is an attorney at Sprouse Shrader Smith in Lubbock. She previously served as an attorney at Brady & Hamilton LLP and as an assistant city attorney for the City of Lubbock Attorney’s Office.
She will serve Place 2 for a term set to expire Dec. 2026, or until her successor can be elected and qualified…
