A 24-year-old woman who admitted to the beating death of her 5-month-old son two years ago was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Kristal Morse, who has been held at the Lubbock County Detention Center since her May 10, 2024 arrest, appeared Friday with her attorney, Jeff Nicholson, in the 364h District Court and pleaded guilty to a count of aggravated assault of a family member causing serious bodily injury with a deadly weapon.
