Rebels boys track wins 5th meet at Lubbock ISD Invite

The Legacy boys track and field team won its fifth meet in five tries during the Lubbock ISD Invitational, Friday and Saturday at Lubbock’s Lowrey Field.

The Rebels (124 points) beat second-place Midland High (93) and third-place Odessa Permian (91) in the Division I portion of the meet in their final tune-up before district.

The LHS boys got individual wins from Dylan Walters in the shot put (50 feet, 8 inches), Nic Moore in the long jump (23-0), Jaime Arreola in the 1,600 meters (4 minutes, 26.28 seconds) and Kameron Norman in the triple jump (41-6.50)…
